Dass das Grundstück ein Waldgarten wurde, ergab sich aus der Topographie: Wir hatten es mit einem Wald an einem Hang zu tun, ein Teil der Waldvegetation war noch vorhanden, und dort einen Permakultur-Waldgarten anzulegen, war eine faszinierende Chance für einen Städter mit Sehnsucht nach der Natur.

Mit unserer Arbeit in der Natur wollen wir den Zauber der uns umgebenden Landschaft bewahren. Geben und Nehmen - damit die Nahrung kraftvoll und gut ist und Mensch und Tier gesund, friedfertig und schlau macht. Wir möchten, daß auch die wilde Natur viel Platz auf dem Hof hat. Das ist ein Dankeschön, das wir der Natur, einem lebendigem Wesen um uns herum, unserer Mutter Erde, zurückgeben.
This site provides information on our permaculture holding at Tir Penrhos Isaf. We have been working at Penrhos (or Benthros, as it is known locally) since 1986 and been living here since February 1992 when we gained temporary planning permission from the Snowdonia National Park. Over that time we have continued to develop our permaculture design for the holding through the practical application of the ethics and principles of permaculture.
This is a design for my allotment which I started in 2008 and it is constantly going under review and improvements. As for good permaculture practice a design is never "Finished".
