A series of links and articles about how anthropology becomes when it decides to enter into action, i.e. coming out of an (impossible) “pure†observation and getting politically involved into the field it studies. In the seventies, in Italy, they used the expression “ricerca-intervento“, that translated the english “action researchâ€. Many experiences of those times are having a continuity until today, for example the “inchiesta operaia†(worker’s inquiry) autogestionated and driven by activists or by the same people who participate of social conflicts. While the field of “applied anthropology†is being colonized by NGOs and development plans, almost always under control or even financed by the same governments, the social movements are developing some other forms of creation of knowledge.
Und nun? Ich habe keine Antworten. Was wir tun können, ist nur das, was wir schon tun: Die Selbstorganisierung der kognitiven Arbeit ist der einzige Weg, die psychopathische Gegenwart zu überschreiten. Ich glaube nicht, dass die Welt durch Vernunft beherrscht werden kann. Die Utopie der Aufklärung hat versagt. Aber ich denke, dass die Verbreitung selbstorganisierten Wissens ein soziales Rahmenwerk schaffen kann, das eine unendliche Anzahl von autonomen Welten enthält.
Die jüngste, schon ganz mit dem Internet aufgewachsene Generation, versteht unter “gut informiert seinâ€, dass sie darüber im Bilde ist, was ihre Freunde im Netz gut finden
wir haben oft keine ahnung wie dinge funktionieren, das wollen wir ändern, aber in unserem style: wir wollen selber alles lernen und das gelernte an andere weitergeben, zeigen, aufmalen, nochmal machen, trial and error. wir sind keine spezialisten, wollen keine sein und uns nicht auf arbeitbereiche aufteilen. durch spezialisierung werden wir amateure zu authoritäten, der chef in uns kann aber getrost für immer zu hause bleiben.
